Grocers Visit Washington, DC

In June of each year, members representing the food industry in Nebraska make a trip to Washington, DC to visit with Nebraska Delegates regarding issues that affect the food industry. Meetings are set with each United States Senator and Congressman/woman that represents Nebraska. In the past, anywhere from 3 to 12 Nebraskans take advantage of the opportunity to participate in this annual event. Issues discussed range from Country of Origin Labeling to Independent Loan Companies and how federal law affects our industry. We have experienced positive results due to meeting with our delegates. We encourage all food industry members to participate in this event. As time draws nearer, we will post a registration form and schedule of events at this site.
